Following an executive order from U.S. President Donald Trump to reinstate sanctions and ramp up maximum pressure on Iran, the Iranian currency has plunged once again. The exchange rate for one U.S. dollar in Iran's free market has surged past 85,000 tomans, marking a historic high.

Nearly 169,000 Iranian children have been left out of primary education, according to Rezvan Hakimzadeh, deputy minister of primary education in Iran’s Ministry of Education.

The need of households for more income has caused many young students to enter the labor market.
