The "No to Execution Tuesdays" campaign was launched in 2023 by political prisoners with the aim of abolishing Iran's death penalty.

The “No to Executions Tuesdays” campaign reported that at least 40 people were executed in Iran in recent days. The group released a statement, obtained by VOA, that comes amid the 47th consecutive week of a hunger strike involving prisoners across 27 prisons nationwide.

The imprisoned members of the campaign have also expressed concern about the possibility of the confirmation of death sentences of two political prisoners, Mohammad Amin Mahdavi Shayesteh and Saman Mohammadi Khiyareh.

The "No to Execution Tuesdays" campaign was launched last year by several political prisoners with the aim of abolishing the death penalty in Iran.
