Self-Defense Instructor Demonstrates Using Effective Tactics When in Danger
Carol Middleton, director of DC Impact Self Defense, founded the Washington, D.C. Chapter in 1988 and teaches self-defense and martial arts courses. She spoke to VOA’s Auriane Itangishaka about the effectiveness of using real life scenarios when teaching these tactics. Carol also demonstrates three key components to use when feeling in danger and shares her experience providing self-defense education for instructors in Kenya.
