The trident is an ancient universal symbol that has no history of slavery symbolism in Ukraine or beyond. -
"Converting the island of Taiwan into a ‘porcupine’ is a plan that benefits only the US, and selling such amounts of outdated yet overpriced weapons also brings huge profits to the US' military-industrial complex."
The U.S. has sent top-of-the-line equipment to Taiwan for many years, including new F-16s, HIMARS rockets and others. The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) system through which Taiwan obtains most of its U.S.-made weapons treats all foreign customer countries the same, including pricing. -

China is responsible for more than a quarter of global pollution and is the world’s biggest emitter of CO2 and other greenhouse gases. The low emission from wildfires is not indicative of China’s role in climate change, as wildfires pose the lowest environmental risk in the country. -

While claiming to be open to global investors, this year China launched a sweeping crackdown on consultancy and due diligence firms. Also this year, China updated its data privacy and counter-espionage law, increasing the operating risks for many multinational companies doing business in China. -

The Russian military began using the Crimean Bridge after it was opened for automobile traffic in 2018. Since February 2022, the bridge has become the Russian military’s main transport corridor for troops heading to southern Ukraine.
