Young volunteers transport books from Mosul’s burned university library

This project by VOA’s Extremism Watch Desk outlines the journey of a woman-led volunteer team who undertook an extraordinary six-week campaign to rescue Mosul University’s library during the brutal battle between the Iraqi forces and the Islamic State in 2017.
