Last month's riots in Baltimore, Maryland, over the death of a black man who had been injured in police custody highlighted the deep-rooted socioeconomic problems afflicting many American industrial cities over the past 50 years. Two residents talk about their experience of growing up and living in West Baltimore and what the recent riots meant to them. VOA's Jeff Swicord reports.
