Troubled History Is Backdrop To Dresden’s Anti-Islamization Protests
In recent months, tens of thousands of Germans have held demonstrations in the eastern city of Dresden to protest against what they see as the ‘Islamization’ of the West. But the crowds display a range of other grievances and this was evident at the biggest demonstration yet, when 25,000 people marched on Monday.
