Liberia Heads to Nationwide Elections Tuesday

Liberia, Africa's oldest republic, heads to presidential and parliamentary polls on Tuesday. Twenty candidates are vying to replace President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf when she steps down this year at the end of her second term. The top campaign issues include infrastructure and healthcare, both challenges that were laid bare by the devastating Ebola epidemic that ended in June of last year.
