Honor Flight Takes US War Veterans to Nation's Capital
update
Every year, a U.S. nonprofit called Honor Flight Network offers American war veterans a free trip to the nation's capital. The program, which began more than a decade ago, gives veterans a chance to visit Washington's war memorials. More than 230,000 veterans have taken part. Lesia Bakalets joined a group of decorated U.S. servicemen on their honor flight from Orlando, Florida, to Washington. Anna Rice narrates her story.
