For immigrants to the U.S., learning English is often hard because it can be difficult to find English classes, and private lessons can be expensive. In the process, volunteers and their students become lasting friends, building meaningful connections and a deeper soul for the community. From Longmont, Colorado, Shelley Schlender reports.
