LIVE BLOG: Obama, Kaine, Biden Make the Case for Hillary Clinton as President

update

The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Many in the crowd are standing and waving signs with Kaine's name and the phrase "Juntos se puede" -- together we can.

Kaine describes how he met and married his wife, saying, "I am the luckiest husband in the world."

He gives a little wave to his wife as the crowd claps.

Doing missionary work in Honduras, Kaine said he got a firsthand look at a dictatorship. "It convinced me that we've got to advance opportunity for everyone," he said.
