LIVE BLOG: Obama, Kaine, Biden Make the Case for Hillary Clinton as President

update

The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Kaine speaks in Spanish: faith, family and work.

The crowd is excited.

Kaine is talking about his upbringing: My parents, Al and Kathy, taught me about hard work, and about kindness, and, most importantly, faith.

He says he wents to a Jesuit high school and it brings a big cheer that even shocks Kaine.

The crowd starts to chant, "Stronger together!"

Kaine says, For my wife Anne, for his children, for the military, for working families, for senior citizens, for every American who wants our country to be a beloved community where people aren't demeaned because of who they but rather for their contributions ... I humbly accept the nomination" for vice president.
