The theme for the third day of the Democratic National Convention is "Working Together." Previous speakers included Vice President Joe Biden and Michael Bloomberg.

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed is the next speaker.

Biden ends with: "We are America, second to none, and we own the finish line. ... Come on, we're America!"

Jill Biden joins the vice president on the stage before he walks off. The crowd is still cheering his speech.

Donald Trump with all his rhetoric would literally make us less safe. ... We simply cannot let that happen as American citizens," Biden says.

As for the dark tone of Trump's speech last week, Biden said, "It's never, never, never been a good bet to bet against America."

Biden says Americans never let our country down. He is getting the crowd energized.
