Belgian police have detained five people, including two brothers, during a series of raids connected to last month's Paris attacks.

The federal prosecutors office says two people were detained during a search in the Laeken district in Brussels Monday.

"A thorough analysis of phone records was the basis for this house search," prosecutors said in a statement.

On Sunday evening, police detained two brothers and a third person during a house search in central part of the city, a statement said.

Authorities did not identify any of those detained and say they found no explosives or weapons in either raid.

The November 13 attacks in Paris killed 130 people and injured more than 300 others.

Several people suspected of having aided the attackers have been arrested in Belgium.

Fugitive Brussels native Salah Abdeslam, who is suspected of direct involvement in the attacks, remains at large.
