The genie's out of the bottle: Christina Aguilera finally admitted her pregnancy.
The singing star told Glamour Magazine that she and her husband Jordan Bratman are expecting a baby early next year. When asked about her plans for 2008, Aguilera said that would be about the time she'd "enter into mommyhood."
The Mousekeer-turned-Grammy winner credited her music marketer husband with keeping her grounded while she went on tour. "He's so supportive and amazing through everything," she said. "He came with me on the last leg of my tour and he was my support system...I gush. I'm a lucky girl."
The singer said she plans to be a working mother and "balance" the needs of her child with her globe-trotting occupation. "I want to get it right," she said.
The daughter of a U.S. Army Sergeant and a Spanish teacher, Christina Aguilera says she suffered physical and emotional abuse at the hands of her father. Her parents divorced when she was seven.
