Trump pauses law banning bribes to foreign officials
President Trump has signed an executive order to pause enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which prevents U.S. companies from paying bribes to foreign government officials to win business. He has instructed new Attorney General Pam Bondi to review the current prosecutions and determine if they should move forward. President Trump said the half-century-old law puts U.S. companies at a disadvantage.
