Trump takes America first to Davos
U.S. President Donald Trump spoke remotely Thursday to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, delivering his first major speech to global business and political leaders. Trump used an address Thursday to promise countries lower taxes if they bring manufacturing to the U.S. and threatened to impose tariffs if they don’t. Speaking by video from the White House to the annual summit, Trump ran through his flurry of executive actions since his swearing. We speak with David Kass, clinical professor of finance at the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
