In the Sahel of West Africa, conflict between states and militants linked to Islamic State and Al Qaeda has led to migration on an unprecedented scale. But, just like the elusive terror groups that hide out in the Sahelian scrub land, there is another invisible force driving people from their homes - climate change. In this documentary short, VOA flew to a town inaccessible by road and at the center of the conflict to meet those who fled and those who chose to fight the invisible enemy.
