Nations in Europe are expressing concerns over what appears to be a spike in cases in a number of countries and what it would mean for their economies, should they be forced back into lockdown. The number of cases are rising in a number of countries. For the first time since May and for 3 consecutive days, Italy registered more than 500 new coronavirus cases per day. Further concerns are the expected number of people returning from summer holiday from places like Croatia, Spain, Greece and Malta in the next few weeks.
