The head of a Paris based pharmaceutical company on Thursday walked back his comments from a day earlier that some countries would get priority access to a coronavirus vaccine. Sanofi Pharmaceuticals chief executive said he was sorry for remarks that any vaccine developed by Sanofi in the United States could go to U.S. patients first. The remarks angered the French government and EU leaders. More than 90 vaccines are currently being developed globally, with eight in the clinical trial phase.
