Jordan has taken a strict, proactive approach in its management of the coronavirus crisis, closing the Middle Eastern country’s borders more than 2 weeks ago, when it imposed a quarantine for all last arrivals. People who dare to run afoul of the government’s curfew face one-year imprisonment and fines of a several hundred dollars.
