New Delhi University Allows Pakistani Students to Enroll Again

In 2008, the eight nations of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation, or SAARC, agreed to create the South Asian University in New Delhi - an institution meant to serve as a center of excellence for students from different countries in the South Asian region. But students from India’s long-standing rival, Pakistan, had often failed to gain admission for various reasons, but this year five Pakistani students have been enrolled. VOA’s Ritul Josh reports.
