Analyst: Protests In Ingushetia Reflect Unresolved Issues in Russia's Caucasus Region

Protests against a border swap with Chechnya continued Monday in Ingushetia, one of Russia's volatile Caucasus republics. Thousands of demonstrators rallied for a fifth straight day in the capital, Magas, calling for the resignation of its leader, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, over a border deal he signed with his Chechen counterpart, Ramzan Kadyrov, on September 26 and which the Ingush parliament endorsed on Thursday.
