Robot room service: in Las Vegas, Nevada, robots navigate through a hotel to bring supplies to guests and workers at any time. In Minneapolis, the Skywalk allows city dwellers to go to many places downtown without exposure tothe bitter cold. But those conditions are ideal for ice sculpture, as created by Deneena Hughes. In Utah, the Olympic Legacy Foundation provides winter sports training and coaching for kids, as the city makes regular use of its Olympics facilities.
