Prominent American Ivory Trade Investigator Stabbed to Death in Nairobi

One of the world’s top investigators into the illegal ivory and rhino horn trade was recently found dead in his Nairobi home with a stab wound in his neck. He was known for undercover work that exposed illegal ivory traffickers and markets. Esmond Bradley Martin's research also led to China's ban of its legal ivory sales earlier this year.
