With President Donald Trump putting the focus on North Korea at the United Nations General Assembly in New York Tuesday, one leader was conspicuously absent - Myanmar's State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate instead broke her near silence on the Rohingya crisis with a televised address from Yangon. International reaction to her speech has been mixed.
