Oil Prices Waver, Rise in a Turbulent and Complex Market
Oil prices have been bouncing recently and have started rising after two years of sagging. The balance between crude oil supplies and energy demand has been rattled by surging competition from wind and solar energy, unrest in some key oil producing nations, and a deal to limit production by members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries. As VOA's Jim Randle reports, a key analyst says prices are rising and likely to continue the upward trend for a while.
