America's Newest Museum Opens, Is a Showcase of African-American Experience
President Barack Obama led the nation in dedicating the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture. Tens of thousands of people gathered Saturday on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., as the new $540 million museum opened its doors to the public.
