Russia’s Athletics Ban Sags Olympic Spirits

Russians are trying to keep up the Olympic spirit, despite rulings from the International Association of Athletics Federations and the International Olympic Committee have banned most of country's athletics competitors from international events, including the Rio Olympics. The ban follows months of investigations into allegations of widespread doping by Russian athletes in the London and Sochi Games, as well as more recent efforts by Russian officials to block international testers.
