Washington Hosts Advanced Energy Projects Summit

Since 2010, the United States Department of Energy has been funding high-risk high-reward energy research projects. Each year since then, private industry, government labs and universities compete for that government funding with bold, exciting and sometimes downright crazy ideas that could change the world. Once a year, the researchers show off and discuss their achievements at a summit in Washington. VOA's George Putic was there.
