Food Waste From Paris Climate Summit Turned Into Power

Roughly a third of the food produced worldwide is lost or wasted, according to the United Nations. In addition to failing to feed the world's hungry, the loss and waste also contributes to climate change. Agriculture and forestry are responsible for nearly a quarter of the world's greenhouse gas emissions. With the eyes of the world upon the U.N. climate summit outside Paris, the conference center is turning its food waste into energy. VOA’s Steve Baragona has more
