Brussels Remains on Highest Terror Alert

The residents of Belgium's capital city woke up Sunday to a second day of a lockdown on its subway system and deserted streets patrolled by security forces. Sunday is also the second day for the highest threat level to be issued for Brussels.

Amid the fear, Brussels continues to prepare for Christmas, as workers build a manger in the square. Local hotels, however, have been asked to keep their doors locked and many shops, cinemas, and train lines are closed.
