Stepped Up Efforts Pledged to Fight Arctic Climate Change
Delegations from about 20 countries have gathered in Alaska for an environmental conference focusing on the effects of climate change on the sensitive Arctic region. The U.S. delegation, which includes President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry, is hosting a series of meetings with policy makers, scientists and non-governmental organizations to discuss ways to combat issues such as the impact of global warming on the Arctic.
