Iconic Daily Show Host Signs Off

Jon Stewart, host of The Daily Show, always said he was 'just a comedian.' But his 17-year run has proven that 'just a comedian' can change the world. In 2010, he very publicly pushed Congress to put aside billions of dollars that helped the first responders of 9-11 get medical care. Later, Stewart quietly established a program to help veterans from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan get into the TV business. He also made us laugh, a lot.
