Obama Urges Americans to Back Iranian Nuclear Deal
President Barack Obama has urged Americans to support a nuclear deal with Iran as the best way to prevent that country from developing a nuclear weapon. In an hour-long speech at American University in Washington, the president argued that continued isolation of Iran would prompt Tehran to build a nuclear weapon very quickly, provoking another war in the Middle East. Zlatica Hoke reports some lawmakers remain skeptical and promise a tough debate before a congressional vote on the issue.
