US Small Businesses Cautiously Optimistic About Economy

The U.S. Small Business Administration classifies a business with less than 500 employees as small. Right now, there are 23 million small businesses across the United States and together they account for 54 percent of all U.S. sales. VOA’s Bernard Shusman in New York looked at three small businesses to see how they're managing in the current economic climate.
