Designing for Disaster Helps Save Lives, Property

Natural disasters occur everywhere in the world, many with catastrophic damage to property and loss of lives. But scientists say the severity of their effects can be lessened if we adequately prepare. An exhibition in the Washington’s National Building Museum teaches what governments and individuals can do to lower the impact. VOA’s George Putic has more.
