Sole Muslim Candidate Campaigns for Change in Myanmar
Myanmar's Muslim population has been cast aside in what could be the country's fairest and freest election in decades, with neither of the two main parties choosing to run Muslim candidates. Yet one lone election hopeful is bucking the trend, campaigning in the Muslim communities of Mandalay city and seeking a change of attitude toward the country's Muslim community. Simon Lewis and Daniel de Carteret report from Mandalay, Myanmar.
