Competing Police Reform Proposals Set for Votes Next Week
US lawmakers are rushing to address the demands for police reform heard in the historic nationwide protests over the May 25th death of George Floyd in police custody. Senate Republicans announced Wednesday they will vote on a proposal next week just as House Democrats are set to pass their own reform legislation.
