Nigeria Eyes Railroad Revival
In Africa’s most-populous country, the car is king. Nigeria relies on its road network for most of its transportation needs. But this month, a train full of cattle arrived in the economic capital Lagos. It’s a step towards revitalizing Nigeria’s neglected rail system and boosting trade within the country. For VOA, Chris Stein hopped on board for the final leg of the journey, and has this report from Lagos. VOA Khmer's Choeung Pochin narrates.
