With Syria Truce Broken, Refugee Flows to Europe Seen Continuing
In recent months, the number of refugees and migrants fleeing to Europe has dropped by half compared with last year but the International Organization for Migration, the world’s leading migration agency, says the current refugee flows are likely to continue as long as the Syrian conflict remains unresolved. Masood Farivar spoke with IOM’s director general, William Lacey Swing, about the outlook on global migration in the coming year. VOA's Steve Baragona narrates his report.
