North Korean Defectors Performing in Peace Concert for Armistice 60thAnniversary
A North Korean pianist who defected to South Korea is to headline a concert in Seoul (on July 26th) marking the 60th anniversary of the end of fighting from the Korean War. VOA's Daniel Schearf interviewed Kim Cheol Woong (kim chuhl OONG) about the "Concert for Peace," his work supporting fellow North Korean refugees, and his hopes for the Korean peninsula.
