Teaching Young Environmentalists Responsible Behaviors
A Native American proverb says: “We don’t inherit this land from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” This is the philosophy behind the "Go Green" Initiative. The program, being used in elementary schools throughout the city of Manassas, Virginia, teaches school children earth-friendly behaviors. As Faiza Elmasry tells us, the program represents a trend across the US to grow an environmentally-conscious generation. Faith Lapidus narrates.
