莎朗.斯通(Sharon Stone)1992年在电影[本能](Basic Instinct)里扮演一个性感的冷血连环杀手而成为国际知名的好莱坞女明星。
06年的[本能]续集是票房败笔；令人对莎朗.斯通的演技和票房号召力产生怀疑。莎朗.斯通当年在[本能]里以天赋本钱卖弄性感长腿的时代对她来说也许已成为过去。
但是最近莎朗.斯通在中国又成为一个家喻户晓的名字。
事情的起因是她在戛纳电影节上回答记者关于中国地震的问题所发表的一番评论，引起中国民众的强烈反应。
这事虽然吵闹了一段时间了，但风波似乎还未平息，其实我们不妨看看莎朗.斯通的整段话是怎么说的：
"You know it's very interesting, because at first I'm, you know not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else. And so I have been very concerned about how to think and what to do about that because I don't like that. And then I 've been, you know, concerned about how should we deal with the Olympics, because they are not being nice to the Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine. And then all this earthquake happened, I thought, is that Karma? -when you are not nice that bad things happen to you. Then I got a letter from the Tibetan foundation that they wanted to go and be helpful. And that made me cry. And they asked me if I would write a quote about that and I said I would, that it was a big lesson for me, that sometimes you have to learn to put your head down and be of service, even to people who not nice to you. And that is a big lesson for me."
“你知道，有意思的是，开始的时候，我对于中国对待西藏人的方式不满意，因为我不认为任何人应该不友善地对待其他人，所以我不知道该怎么想，该怎么作，因为我不喜欢那种情况。我不知道如何看待奥运会，因为他们对我的朋友达赖喇嘛不友好。然后地震发生了，我当时就想，这难道是因果报应？后来西藏基金会给我寄信说他们要到中国提供帮助。我感动得哭了。他们问我可不可以写几句话，我说当然可以，这对我来说是一个很大的教训，有时候你必须学会谦卑，学会服务他人，即使对那些不友善的人也是如此。这是我学到的最大的教训。”
