Severna Koreja održala je veliku vojnu paradu povodom 70. godišnjice formiranja države, na kojoj ovog puta nisu predstavljeni interkontinentalni balistički projektili.

Paradu, tokom koje su prošle kolone tenkova i hiljade vojnika, pozdravio je severnokorejski lider Kim Džong Un koji se međutim nije obraćao okupljenima.

Vojna parada održana je u veoma osetljivom periodu za Pjongjang koji pokušava da ublaži tenzije sa Sjedinjenim Državama, posle istorijskog samita Kima i američkog predsednika Donalda Trampa u Singapuru.

Oba lidera žele sprovođenje sporazuma pre nove runde razgovora. Vašington želi da Severna Koreja započne proces denuklearizacije, dok Pjongjang zahteva bezbednosne garancije u zamenu za odustajanje od nuklearnog programa.
