Momente nga festimi i Ditës Ndërkombëtare të Rinisë në vite. Më 17 dhjetor 1999, Asambleja e Përgjithshme e Kombeve të Bashkuara vendosi ta shpallë 12 gushtin Ditën Ndërkombëtare të Rinisë. Kjo ditë shërben për të vënë në dukje rolin e rinisë për të realizuar zhdukjen e varfërisë.
