Israeli forces killed nine Palestinians and fired tear gas inside a children’s hospital ward in the town of Jenin, Palestinian officials said Thursday. The Israeli military said it engaged in a firefight with Islamist militants during a "counterterrorism operation” on a crowded refugee camp.
