Pakistan: At least 12 police officers were killed and eight others wounded when bandits with guns and rocket-propelled grenades attacked a broken-down police vehicle in Punjab’s Kacha area of the Rahim Yar Khan district. The area is known for heavily-armed bandits robbing travelers on highways.
