WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has agreed to plead guilty to violating the U.S. Espionage Act in a deal with the U.S. Justice Department that will free him from prison. Assange is due to be sentenced Wednesday to 62 months of time already served for WikiLeaks’ mass release of secret U.S. documents
