Ivory Coast: President Alassane Ouattara and his Ghanaian counterpart John Dramani Mahama called Wednesday on Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger to rejoin the West African bloc, ECOWAS. The military juntas that took over those countries after coups between 2020 and 2023 left ECOWAS at the end of January.
